59 Chinese Apps banned in India, here is the list of chines apps

59 Chinese Apps banned in India by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under the section 69A of Information Technology Act. This list includes the extremely popular TikTok app.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology banned these apps in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state and public order.

The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-IN) has also received many representations from citizens regarding security of data and breach of privacy impacting upon public order issues.
