Twitter is testing Voice tweet feature and rolled out this feature to some users. Recently in a blog post, Twitter announced it is rolling out voice tweet feature for some iOS users.
Voice Tweet rolls out with the slogan “Your Tweet, your voice”. This feature will let you record voice and tweet it in your feed. It will help over the 280 characters maximum limit for a tweet.
It is very easy to voice tweet.
- Tap the Tweet compose button
- Select the audio icon in the media bar
- Tap the “Record” button to start recording your audio and “Done” when you’re finished
- Add Tweet copy if you’d like then tap “Tweet”
You can Tweet a Tweet. But now you can Tweet your voice!

The maximum limit for voice recording is 140 seconds. Once you reached the 140 seconds limits, a new voice tweet starts recording and creates a thread.
Soon this feature will be rolled out to all iOS users. Nowhere mentioned about Web and Android users.
