Nvidia has launched a new update for Forza Horizon 5 on PCs that adds support for Nvidia DLSS 3 and Nvidia Reflex. The update comes a day before the release of the game’s new expansion, Rally Adventure. With the new update, GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs can achieve a framerate of over 120fps at 4K resolution, thanks to the introduction of DLSS 3. Nvidia showcased gameplay footage for Forza Horizon 5 running with the new update, with the framerate counter showing that the game’s framerate sometimes surpasses the 200 mark. The game’s graphics have also been enhanced with ray-traced reflections on PC.
DLSS 3 will also be supported in other games such as Diablo IV and Redfall when they launch later this year. Additionally, CD Projekt Red has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will get a more advanced form of ray tracing called path tracing, which will be available in April.
Forza Horizon 5’s Rally Adventure expansion takes players on an off-road adventure in the rugged terrain of Sierra Nueva, filled with dust and sand. It’s the second expansion for the game, following the release of the Hot Wheels DLC in 2022. The new update is available now for PC players and is expected to improve the game’s performance and visuals.
