Due to the latest corona virus pandemic, there is a sharp increase in usage of video calling apps. Recently in a blog post facebook has announced its new group video calling feature called Messenger Rooms.
What is Messenger Rooms?
Messenger Rooms is a group video calling feature which can hold upto 50 people with no time limit. You can create a room right from your Facebook or Messenger and invite the people to join the video call, even they don’t have a Facebook account.
Soon facebook is trying to add ways to create room from WhatsApp, Instagram and Portal.
You can share rooms in facebook through Event, Groups and News Feed. When you create a room, you have total control over the room. You can choose who can see and join the room. You can remove people from the call and lock the room of you don’t want any one to join.
Messenger rooms will be out in some countries this week and remaining countries in the upcoming weeks.
