Facebook starts rolling out its Dark mode feature for its new Desktop design. Facebook is rolling out its new desktop design feature to all its users. Earlier this new desktop design feature is only available for some users.
The new desktop feature got some major changes but dark mode update is biggest one and comming out after long period of testing.
Facebook said “The new redesigned facebook is simpler and easy to use with the features you know and love. Facebook will keep improving the user experience.”
Facebook has provided a toggle button to turn on and off the dark mode feature. This new dark mode feature will make the background to black with light colors on it by which it is ease the strain on eyes in dimly light conditions.
For those to turn on the new facebook design, you can click on the little down arrow on top right side and click on ‘switch to new Facebook’.
In the new design the navigation on the desktop site has been streamlined to make easy to find groups, videos, games etc. As per the facebook, the dark mode made video watching experience great.
The Facebook new redesign is announced in F8 developer summit in 2019. Recently Facebook has announced some other features along with dark mode which will improve the navigation, Manage Pages, Groups and Events with Ease in their official blog post.
