Google removed 11 apps from Play Store as it contains Joker malware

Google has removed 11 applications from Play store that have malware. The reason for Google’s decision is that these apps contain malicious ‘Joker’ malware.

Researchers from Check Point discovered the updated version of Joker malware is present inside some apps in Google Play Store.

The ‘Joker’ malware specialized in downloading other malware content and subscribing to some premium services without notice.

  • com.contact.withme.texts
  • com.hmvoice.friendsms
  • com.relax.relaxation.androidsms
  • com.cheery.message.sendsms (2 varients)
  • com.peason.lovinglovemessage
  • com.file.recovefiles
  • com.LPlocker.lockapps
  • com.remindme.alram
  • com.training.memorygame

If you have installed any of these apps, it is recommended to uninstall as soon as possible.

Google is focusing on malware, which is becoming a challenge to its users security and has whipped up 11 apps that have malware from the Google Play Store.
