Instagram is testing pin comment feature. This feature will let you to pin comment on a post. It is a similar feature as we can see in YouTube from a long back.
Pin comment feature will make the post so much engaging and suppressing the negativity comments on the post.
Pinned comment feature will soon be rolled out as testing complete, which will make first to offer pin comment feature in social networking platform. We can pin more than one comment in the comment section.
It is mentioned in official announcement that Instagram is moving this feature in order to curb bullying comments. This will increase positive environment on account and posts.
In addition to this Instagram is rolling out some other features like bulk blocking account, bulk comment removing.
To enable this feature on iOS, tap on a comment and then the dotted icon in the top right corner. Select Manage Comments and choose up to 25 comments to delete at once. Tap More Options to block or restrict accounts in bulk. To block or restrict accounts on Android, press and hold on a comment, tap the dotted icon and select Block or Restrict.
Instagram is also rolling out a new feature where you can manage the people who can tag you. Instagram is rolling out this feature because bullying can be done with tagging an account.
You can now manage the tagging on your account by go to Privacy > Tags to manage tagging and Privacy > Mentions to manage the mentions of your account.
