Microsoft announces $100,000 to hack its custom Linux OS

Microsoft announced a three months challenge which invites hackers to take on Azure Sphere OS its own custom Linux OS

Microsoft is now offering upto $100,000 to hackers if they break the security of Microsoft custom linux OS. Azure sphere OS is a compact and custom version of linux which was specially run on IoT platform devices. This OS helps to run apps and services isolated in sandbox for security purposes.

Now Microsoft wants hackers to test the security of this Azure Sphere OS. It is paying upto $100,000 if Secure World sandbox or Pluton security subsystem is compromised.

This bug bounty starts at June 1, 2020 and runs till August 31, 2020. To apply for this Azure Sphere Security Research Challenge, submit your application form before May 15, 2020.
