Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft is currently working on a new feature for Outlook, that will predict what you write next. It is similar to smart compose feature in Gmail. Microsoft named this feature as text prediction. Currently Microsoft is developing for Outlook web.

This feature makes Outlook to provide suggestions to complete sentences. Just you need to click to Tab key or Right arrow key to insert the suggestion you got.

The text prediction feature will get better at recognising how you write and understands the context and provides you the suggestion.

Microsoft says “Outlook will use smart technology, presumably artificial intelligence to understand the context and to provide the correct suggestions that you like to insert in email.”

Microsoft has provided the documentation to turn on/off the text prediction feature. Simply go to Settings > view all outlook settings > Mail > compose and reply > text predictions.

Microsoft said it is planning to add schedule emails option for outlook web. There is option to send the email on delay in Outlook desktop app, but this feature is not available in Outlook web.

Microsoft mentioned that, according to its road map Microsoft is planning to add an option to schedule emails in Outlook web.
