Fitness bands captures a lot of data about our body beyond activity and heart rate insights. Fitbit thinks it might be able to use some fitness data to help in the current pandemic to develop an algorithm to detect COVID-19 before the victim notice symptoms.

This Google owned company is inviting the participants who has COVID-19, has previously or who has flu like symptoms to take part in its research.

This study features a series of question in Assessments and Reports option that can be found in Discovery tab. It will take just few minutes to complete the answers. These answers will be used along with other indicators in Fitbit data to help researchers to determine the COVID-19 symptoms and flu. Participation is voluntary and can withdraw any time.

This research is similar to the research of Scripps Research Translational Institute and the Stanford Medicine Healthcare Innovation Lab with the help of Fitbit to determine the COVID-19 symptoms before we notice.
