Twitter is testing a new feature that will prompt users before retweeting without reading the article or link in the tweet.
Recently in a tweet by Twitter Support this feature was shared.
Sharing an article can spark conversation, so you may want to read it before you Tweet it.

To help promote informed discussion, we’re testing a new prompt on Android –– when you Retweet an article that you haven’t opened on Twitter, we may ask if you’d like to open it first.
According to Twitter, this feature is aiming to promote informed discussion before they share it. This feature doesn’t stop you from sharing but it shows prompt if you are retweeting a link without reading it.
This experiment is rolled out to some users in U.S based Android users as of now.
